This question is difficult to give an exact answer due to some dates being booked out for months, whereas on other occasions I have availability to accommodate last minute orders with two weeks notice. To avoid disappointment, I would recommend booking as soon as possible. A general time frame would be approximately 8 weeks in advance.
We do offer delivery for all wedding cakes, and any other occasions.
Delivery incurs an extra charge depending on the distance, this cost can be included into your quote for custom orders.

We do offer wedding cake tasting boxes available for order, just send an email through to arrange one. These include 12 cupcakes with your choice of 3 flavour combinations.
For custom orders, we do not require a full payment upfront, however we do require a 30% deposit which is deducted from the full price of the cake. Bookings/order dates are not secured until a deposit is paid & CONFIRMED, a deposit needs to be paid before the quote becomes invalid. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event.
With every order, we ensure all cakes are sturdily constructed and professionally boxed for maximum safety. However, when transporting your cake, care is still needed.
Prior to collection, I provide a digital cake care slip that outlines how to best care for your cake at all times. A cake is best transported on a flat, level surface. The best place for your cake is in a foot well or a boot with a towel underneath to provide a non-slip surface, with any obstructions carefully secured. If these are not available options, then a passenger can carry the cake.
We recommend refrigerating your cake up until 1 to 2 hours prior to serving. Our cakes are self-stable and can be left out of the fridge if need be. However, the weather especially in hotter climates can be damaging to your cake ie. the decorations.
We advise you to take your cake out of the fridge 1 to 2 hours prior to serving, as the cake is best eaten at room temperature, for optimal flavour and texture.
Full payment is due 14 days prior to your booking date. If you cancel after this point, within 14 days of your booking, this results in a 50% refund of the total order cost (provided that full payment has already been made)
Cancellation within 7 days of your booking date will render the funds paid as non-refundable. However, the funds can be transferable if we have the availability to accommodate you for a future booking.
I do, however, please be attentive to the fact that whilst I can accommodate dietary requirements, my kitchen uses a wide range of allergen products, including but not limited to: nuts, eggs, dairy & gluten. It is your responsibility to ensure your guests are aware of this.
At CakesbyErin, we value ingenuity and artistic integrity. Therefore, we do not copy the design of other cake makers; however, you may send us pictures of other cakes to use as inspiration in the cake we create for you.
Please note that the colours & design of the actual cake make vary from on-screen images owing to the nature of digital and edible components.
